Boma 925 Sterling Silver Filigree, Marcasite & Amethyst Ladies Quartz Watch
Boma built a devoted following in the 1990s–2000s making .925 sterling silver jewelry-grade
timepieces that sit comfortably at the intersection of Art Nouveau revival and Victorian-inspired
ornament. This example is one of the more elaborate pieces they produced: an oversized cushion
case with deep-relief openwork scrollwork, a full marcasite pavé inner bezel ring, and two
faceted oval amethyst cabochons flanking the dial at the quarter-positions. The oxidized finish
throws the silverwork into sharp contrast — the dark recesses against bright scroll tips give it
a look that reads as genuinely antique. It wears big on the wrist, makes a statement, and still
tells time accurately.

Condition
Very good vintage condition. The silverwork retains strong detail with the oxidized patina
intact throughout — no polish-out attempts, which would flatten the relief. Marcasite stones
appear complete with no visible loss from the pavé ring. Both amethyst cabochons are secure
and well-saturated in color. The leather strap shows light surface texture consistent with
age but holds its shape. Crystal is clear with no cracks noted.
