TAG Heuer SEL Professional 200m | S99.206 | Ladies | Champagne Yellow Dial
The S/EL — Sports Elegance — was TAG Heuer’s answer to a watch that could go from
the boardroom to the reef and back without breaking a sweat. Launched in 1987 and designed
by Eddie Schopfer (the same hand behind the earlier Heuer 2000 series), the SEL line became
one of the defining watch shapes of the late 1980s and 1990s. This example is the ladies
Professional 200m variant: a tool-rated dive spec wrapped in an integrated S-link bracelet
that wears closer to jewelry than hardware. The champagne dial has deepened over thirty-plus
years into a warm yellow that reads far more interesting than a fresh grey ever could — and
under low light, the green lume still activates with genuine brightness.

Condition
Honest vintage wear throughout — this is a lived-in piece, not a display piece. The
S-link bracelet shows significant patina: scratching, tarnishing, and link rounding consistent
with daily wear over decades. The caseback carries heavy surface scratching typical of a
worn tool watch. The case lugs show contact marks. The dial, by contrast, has aged gracefully:
the original cream has mellowed into a warm yellow that gives this watch its name and character;
no cracking, lifting, or damage observed. Crystal appears free of major chips or cracks.
Green lume remains active. Movement runs. Screw-down crown present and functional.
Includes
Watch only. No box or papers observed — confirm pre-publication.
