This is the Swiss-tier Accutron that Bulova reserved for its alpine resort collections: the Brussels,
a compact ladies dress watch built around a diamond-set fixed bezel and integrated two-tone bracelet.
Where most vintage ladies quartz of this era leaned costume, the Brussels was engineered to a higher
standard — Swiss movement, sapphire crystal, and genuine diamond accents across the entire bezel circumference.
The white textured dial keeps the composition restrained, letting the sparkle of the bezel do the
talking. A date window at 3 o’clock adds everyday utility without cluttering the dial.

The applied baton hour markers on this watch contain tritium (³H) lume capsules, consistent with
Swiss watch production practices of the 1980s–1990s. Tritium is a low-energy beta emitter with a
12.3-year half-life. At this age, lume output is minimal to nil, but the sealed capsules present no
meaningful external radiation risk under normal wear conditions. Handling is safe; do not open or
damage the capsules. Buyers with specific occupational radiation monitoring requirements should consult
their RSO before purchase.

Condition

Very good overall. Crystal is clear with no visible scratches. Dial is clean — white finish shows no
discoloration or damage. Bezel diamonds present; no visible missing stones. Case shows light service
wear consistent with age. Bracelet retains full length and deployment clasp functions correctly.
