Gruen GR7209 Ladies Oval Quartz — Crystal Bezel & Two-Tone Bracelet
Before quartz killed the American watch industry, Gruen was one of its giants — and the brand’s
late-era dress pieces carry that legacy in a package sized for the wrist. The GR7209 is a compact
oval case ringed by a full surround of pavé-set rhinestones, mounted on a boldly textured
diagonal-link bracelet that alternates polished gold-tone and silver-tone surfaces. It reads cocktail
without trying too hard, and the clean white dial keeps things legible. Japan-sourced quartz movement;
stainless steel caseback confirmed on the caseback engraving.
